Video blog: 2018 Products in Review

First of all: Happy New Year!

As 2018 drew to an end, and as an adjunct to the Year in the Saddle piece, I decided to do a video round-up of the various bike-related products I’d acquired over the course of 2018: clothes, luggage, tech, accessories, books, food – as well as a look at my new Ti bike build. Lots of the products can be used for commuting, leisure cycling, touring or club riding, so there may well be something in there of interest if you’re on the look-out for some new stuff – there’s a full list in the video description. These are all my genuine opinions as a purchaser and user of the items in question – no astroturfing here!

Let me know what you think.

Good fun, tks Nick. Great idea of that comnpany to use panforte – how about just buying panforte, cutting it up and using your own re-usable bags? I’ll give that a go. We’ve started down this track already by making muesli bars ourselves!

Fully agree on the Trekz headphones, they’re brilliant. I use them for navigation, using RideWithGPS – take a look at Bicycle Network Tasmania’s Ambassador Routes 🙂

You didn’t mention the Finn – I saw that on your bike in the year in review blogpost – I think they’re great too.

      Hi Di,

How brilliant that folk down under are looking at the blog! Welcome!
I have to admit, I don’t really have the inclination to make my own cycling food – so it’s been great to find a brand that is innovative and tasty.

Not sure what you mean with ‘the Finn’? Perhaps it’s called something different here, and whatever it was, it was possibly procured in a different year. If you could point it out, I can give you some more information.

      Happy New Year to you!

      Nick
